Advantages: An unforgettable stay! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality at Acra Hotel was unmatched. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Emre and Sami, as well as the entire staff, who were incredibly helpful, kind, and genuinely eager to assist with anything we needed at any given moment. They truly made us feel at home.
The location is absolutely perfect—nestled in the historic Sultanahmet district, it is just a short, pleasant walk away from the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Topkapi Palace. Despite being so close to major attractions, the hotel itself is a peaceful oasis.
Our room was spotlessly clean, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities we could possibly need. Disadvantages: -

Advantages: Breakfast was excellent, buffet style, great selection, great service from the attending staff.
Location is top notch, walking steps to all the major IST attractions.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. Disadvantages: Room was OK, but reading light was busted off the wall, missing entirely.
Missed our first night reservation due to cancelled flight, tried to notify them, got no response, got charged anyway for a night we didn't use. It'd have been nice if they made some attempt to adjust.

Advantages: The stay was excellent from start to finish. The location was very convenient, the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the overall experience was very pleasant.

A special thanks to Sami at the reception, who was extremely welcoming, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. He made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived and was always ready to assist with anything we needed. His friendly attitude and excellent service really made our stay even more enjoyable.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again. Disadvantages: Nothing

Advantages: Excellent location close to Blue Mosque and other attractions. Rooms were large and beds were comfy. Breakfast was wonderful with so many options. But the best part was the staff. They were exceptional. Sammy on the front desk helped me out so many times. Disadvantages: Nothing

Advantages: Great location with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus from the terrace.

The hotel has an elevator, and the room was clean and cleaned every day. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options.

Sami is the best! He is a very wise and kind person. He is always happy to help, and he can keep a conversation going and develop any topic in different languages.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would be happy to come back.

Advantages: Everything was perfect.
the location is a 5-minute walk from the blue mosque of St. Sophia, the Topkapi palace, the Basilica cistern and tram 1.
We had the perfect room 402, clean and comfortable beds.
The staff is incredibly kind especially Sami who advised us very well on hamam visits (they pick us up and take us back to a great hamam where the masseuses are top)
Ditto if you want to take a cruise on the Bosphorus and Sami ordered us a taxi to the airport.
The breakfast is also amazing and delicious.
Hotel will definitely have an address to communicate to his friends. Disadvantages: Nothing

I stayed at the Acra Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days in early September with my family. The friendly staff and clean room conditions made the room comfortable. We had a family of three, the room was reasonable in size, and there was a great view of the Bospors Strait. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is a 5-10-minute walk from Ayasofia and Blue Mosque. Thanks to this, every time you return from your trip, you can see the mosque every day, and if you go to the mosque early in the morning, you can enter the mosque without waiting much. In addition, you can walk to many historic sites such as Sultan Ahmet Square and Yeravatansarai, and there is a tram station next to Sultan Ahmet Square, which is very convenient for transportation.
The location is also an advantage with airport pick-up service, which takes about 45 minutes.
The next time you travel to Istanbul again, you will want to stay at this hotel.

Advantages: The room is very spacious and the location is very good. It is convenient to go anywhere. There is a restaurant downstairs and a commissary within a minute's walk.The staff is very nice, especially Sami. He can see his bright smile every day when he enters and leaves the hotel, and he is also enthusiastic to help us a lot. Disadvantages: The mattress is too soft and I have back pain when I sleep

The staff was really friendly, the location of hotel is near to blue mosque around 300m and to Hagia Sophia and very easy access to tram which makes it an amazing 4 star hotel to visit. Their buffet breakfast was nice and different everyday.

We had a vacation with a guy in Istanbul in September. I was looking for a hotel with parking in the historical center of Istanbul to feel the atmosphere of the city, and I found the Acre Hotel.
This is probably the only hotel in the historical center of the city with its own parking, since we went from Russia to Turkey on a road trip in our own car.
Upon arrival, we were met by Sami, the hotel administrator. Sami speaks three languages perfectly - Turkish, Russian and English - there were no problems with communication. In the evenings, we had small conversations with him, He told us about Turkey and answered all our questions, as well as constantly treated us to tea. In the dining room, Sami translated Turkish cuisine recipes from their chef into Russian for me)

The hotel is a 3-minute walk from Sultan Ahmet Mosque and St. Sophia Cathedral. There are a lot of cafes nearby, which is a very convenient location.
For breakfast, they give eggs, sausages, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, ham, Turkish sauces and snacks, desserts, drinks of your choice (tea, coffee, compotes, water with lemon) - we had enough of such a full breakfast for most of the day.
I liked the very atmospheric interior in the room, it felt like you were in one of the chambers of a Turkish palace.
Cleaning is daily, Wi-Fi is working perfectly, a cat is sleeping in the lobby, there is a cooler with water on the ground floor, there is a kettle and a refrigerator in the room.

Advantages: It was excellent location and value for money. Breakfast had decent options. Sami was very friendly and guided us when required. He was very courteous.

We came to Istanbul from Fethiye as a family and stayed for 4 nights at Acra Hotel Istanbul and had a really nice holiday. The location, cleanliness, quality of service and especially the hospitality of the hotel were very pleasing to us.What made our stay even more special and unforgettable for us was the Hotel Manager Emre KÖŞKER Bey. I would like to thank him especially for his smiling face, friendly and pleasant conversation, interest and valuable advice he gave about the places to visit in Istanbul. His guidance was really very useful for us to explore Istanbul more pleasantly.It was an accommodation where we felt like we were at home as a family and saved up good memories. I would recommend Acra Hotel Istanbul with peace of mind. We would like to thank the entire hotel team, especially Emre Bey, and we hope to prefer it again when we come to Istanbul again.
